high school yearbook spreads
My experience with being on my high school yearbook staff can only be described as nothing but memorable. Through this, I found my true passion in photography and editing. Of course, these are the very early stages in my editing career, but still aesthetically pleasing nonetheless.
I remember really wanting to experiment with the different tools that Adobe Photoshop provided. If I were to redo this spread now, I'd definitely make the circles on the left look less like feet haha. But I love the double exposure with Kelly's profile.
Another one of my favorite spreads I've done. It was challenging because I had to make do with the space that I had while also accommodating staff's needs. So many details had to be photoshopped, and the hardest photoshop was Mrs. Nylund's Lip Sync Battle belt; those aren't even her hands!

For my sophomore and junior years of high school, I was a part of the yearbook staff. Through this experience, I gained immense knowledge in working with Adobe Suite and found my passion in photography. It's because of my time in yearbook that I pursued a Bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in digital arts and media. Once I got my foot in the door, I never wanted to stop. Here are my amateur spreads that I compiled, with a few criticisms on what I'd do differently if I were to remake them today.
creep by omgkirby
This is an animation project I've been working on for one of my college courses. It's a lyrics video for one of my favorite renditions of Radiohead's "Creep." This is the first animation I'd ever done, and with how difficult the process was, I'm not 100% sure if this is something I'd pursue, but I thought it'd be nice to include in my portfolio, anyway.

Canva was a staple application for me during my college career. I was an active member in the Pacific Islander's Club and cheerleading squad and made many advertisements for them through all four years. I think they really showcase my eye for aesthetic.
